Just to share a little light, yes there is money to be made in the music industry but not so much how you think. STANDING OUT IN A CROWDED INDUSTRY.

One of the most important things with being in the music industry is passion. Ask yourself if you have the passion to be diligent and the dedication to do what it takes to be great. Many years ago, the major record labels supplied a lot of the work which made it easier for most artist to just sign and go running. In today’s world, there are more independent labels where the work is on you. Even though it’s not too different from what it used to be, artist today still need to build and maintain a good relationship with fans. Why is this important? Because without fans, who would buy your product.

Not only is having a great fan base important but putting out quality music is also important.

QUALITY IS KEY

Whether you are a music producer, singer or rapper releasing quality music is an important key to a successful music career. Think about it, would you buy a song that sounds like someone just swallowed the ocean and reaching to get out? (Garbling), or would you listen to music that sounds like the instrument keys are fighting against each other like a spooky organ in a scary movie? I know I wouldn’t. There is nothing sexier, than a clean sound and well blended vocals. This is what all artist should reach to achieve. For one it makes you sound like a professional.
